About Me

I am an independent artist based in Hawaii with a certification in music therapy and sound healing from the University of New Hampshire and a McGill University faculty of psychology graduate. In addition to my career in the performing arts as a writer, director and actor, I am a professional musician, classically trained in violin and self-taught guitar. My initial exposure to Music Therapy as a practice was in a small Transylvanian town bordering the Romanian forest where I assisted in therapeutic workshops designed for patients who had reached severe stages in their diagnoses including autism, schizophrenia and Alzheimer’s disease.

Since later witnessing the affect that noisy traffic had on my mother in her own home and her subsequent development of dementia, I investigated the origins and efficacy of music therapy for conditions pertaining to my mother’s urgent mental state. You may also have witnessed such effects of sound, eventually leading you to know, yourself. The research scientific findings that vibration plays a profound impact on several faculties of our well-being confirmed suspicions of what intuition, not to mention generations of studies and ancient civilizations past, have been heralding all along.

In support of those that have and have yet to experience transformation via music and sound, it is my pleasure and mission to help officially reinstitute the use of music in western healing practices as a more accessible form of healing, as it has been effectively practiced over thousands of years.
